student

Name: Cherie

School: Café Enfield

I had help from some a special person. Her name is: Marie Sanderson my teacher.

The hardest time for me was when: I had to change my Community Project half way through the year due to childcare restrictions.

The best time for me was: When I won my class SACE student of the year award and then when I received my scores 20/20 for my Community Project.

I plan to enrol at: TAFE.

I want to study: Certificate Four in Community Service

I know that I am a role model for other Aboriginal students in my family and in my community and I am encouraging other students by:  Showing them that it doesn’t matter how old you are or if you have children, you can still get a better education if you’re willing to commit yourself to it.

Any other comments you would like to make: I would just like to say that without the help and support that I received from my teacher Marie, I don’t think I would have been able to do it. She deserves a medal for her dedication and commitment to her students.
