Australian Indigenous Languages Framework (AILF) Project Resources

The resources listed below were produced by the Australian Indigenous Languages Framework Project for use in schools. They enable Australian Indigenous Languages to be taught in a way that has never been possible before. They can be used as the basis for many different program types, from First Language Maintenance to Language Revival. These materials can be used in adult classes or for accreditation in Year 12 certificates. They are a resource for both Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians, and are particularly suitable for secondary school students.

Aboriginal Education Strategy (AES) Resources

The Aboriginal Education Strategy has produced the following resources for students, parents, and teachers:

	SACE Graduate Posters These posters depict Indigenous students who completed the SACE.
	Report on Aboriginal Students and the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) 1998 This report documents the findings of the research into the factors that inhibit Indigenous students' access to, participation in, and completion of the SACE, and provides statistical data relating to the participation and completion rates of Indigenous students since the inception of the SACE - download pdf.
	Imagining Themselves, Imagining Their Futures This publication presents the findings of a research project that was designed to reveal the perceptions and ideas of Indigenous Australian students who successfully completed the South Australian Certificate of Education.
